How is BounceBlocker different from a free email checker?
Free checkers usually only run a syntax + MX check. We go further with a real SMTP probe, catch-all detection, disposable-domain matching, spam-trap heuristics, and inbox-placement testing against real seed mailboxes — giving you a verdict you can trust.
Will validating addresses hurt my sender reputation?
No. Our SMTP probes are sent from warmed-up IPs with proper rDNS, SPF, and DKIM, and we throttle per receiving server. Your sending IPs are never used for validation.
How accurate is the validation?
We aim for 99.9% accuracy on deliverable / undeliverable verdicts. Some providers (Yahoo, AOL, mail.com, ProtonMail) deliberately limit SMTP responses — for those we return a transparent "unknown" instead of guessing.
Do you charge for duplicates in bulk uploads?
No. We deduplicate before validation and only charge for unique addresses. The detailed bulk report shows you which rows were duplicates and which unique address they pointed to.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — every paid plan is monthly and cancels in one click from your billing page. Unused validations do not roll over.
Do you offer an API?
